Frequently Asked Questions
Taking the first step toward therapy can bring up a lot of questions — and that is completely okay. Here are some of the most common ones we hear. If you do not see your question answered here, we would love to hear from you.
Getting started is simple — reach out through our contact page to schedule a free consultation. We will take the time to understand what you are looking for and make sure Lucé is the right fit for you.
Lucé is a private pay practice and does not bill insurance directly. We provide superbills upon request so you can submit for potential out of network reimbursement — we recommend checking with your insurance provider about your out of network benefits beforehand.
We ask for at least 48 hours notice for cancellations or rescheduling. Cancellations made less than 48 hours in advance will be charged the full session fee.
It depends on what you are navigating and what kind of support feels right for you. Our Which Service Is Right for You section is a great place to start — and if you are still unsure, reach out and we will help you find the right fit.
Absolutely — many clients find that combining both offers the most well rounded support. Individual therapy provides personal focused space while group therapy adds community and connection.
Lucé is not a crisis service. If you are experiencing a mental health emergency, please call or text 988 to reach the Suicide and Crisis Lifeline, or go to your nearest emergency room.
We would love to connect. Reach out through our contact page and we will get back to you within 48 hours. There is no pressure and no commitment — just a conversation to see if Lucé feels like the right fit for you.
